Here's the other side.

After what must be more than twenty years...

I've decided to finally throw away my tin Dukes of Hazzard garbage can. I literally don't remember when this was given to me most likely by my parents but it was with me when we lived in New Jersey, the move to Rhode Island, when I moved out to college, the dorm, the apartment in Providence, the loft in Chelsea, NY, and now finally more than a decade in Astoria. It's funny to actually feel sentimental about a really beat up garbage can. ;-)

NY Comic Con!

Well Jen and I braved Fri and Sat better than last year. No real news
from DC comics but it was fun nonetheless. Really enjoyed Greg Rucka
more than I expected. Very excited to see what's coming this year.

Ahmond Performs Live!!!

My beautiful Michael accompanied me to see and support my friend Ahmond in the FREEZING cold tonight. This is one of the reasons why I love him. Ahmond was great and we had a good time. Afterwards we went to eat at the Kellog Diner, nearby to Michael's preferred tattoo parlor. Despite the bitter cold, this is one of the most beautiful nights I've ever had in NYC.

The view from our window.

Decided to take quick shot outside to test the mobile blogging
function and hoping it works on the first try.

why start here?

I think it's interesting that when creating this very first post, I'm asked to create a title first. Doubts. I have many regarding this "blog" and if I'll even continue to create upon it. I'm excited to see that I should be able to add content on the fly from my iPhone and perhaps I really will. I can't help but feel that I'm about to produce a whole lot of stuff that will simply go un-viewed by so many, but perhaps that shouldn't be my concern. I can hear Michael emerging from the bathroom brushing his teeth reminding me that I should do the same, seeing as it's close to noon and I really need to stay on top of my dental hygeine. Well how about I get to it and I'll try some of the iPhone functionality next. ;-)
